Hi Kathina,
I'm so sorry to hear of all that you have been through. Have you heard of EFT? It is a healing modality which is like accupuncture but without the needles :) You only need to use your fingers to tap. Sounds very woo woo I know, but please do check it out as it works wonders!!
Do try it out because it has helped me immensely. There are many websites but a very good one is - http://eftuniverse.com/. All the best.

Well Dear Friend, Please instill these truths within yourself, within your own soul, as The Divine Creator has hunched this Author to Share this much needed intrinsic Sacred Knowledge with us; about how we can instill and know and acknowledge these truths in ourselves, with or without a father figure..we are loved whether a male figure was there or not, we all have intrinsic worth ,we're all special and Dignified and deserving of respect and good treatment regardless of a male figure being around, who probably could have had to go through his own self development and learning in life...

We can learn to treat ourselves the way we deserve to be, Just because he wasnt there doesnt mean he doesnt care, He probably had his own issues to sort out...Its a learning process for all of us... Just know your self worth is in these truths and that God the Divine Creator loves you the way this Author will love his Daughters...We all have the same equal worth, and we all have the ability to place our self worth in ourselves, our talents, our abilities, our values our attitudes, our dreams our hopes, our knowledge our personalities our virtues, our self development,....our kindness, our forgiveness, our spiritual development, our futures, once weve established ourselves and valued ourselves i, we may be firm in the truth that we are all Gods Daughters and you get to look for what you want in a future husband and how you want your possible daughter to be raised.....

God bless,

I am trying to teach my daughter that she is beautiful. The difficulty is when people see me. I am so handsome that it is not really fair to expect anyone to match my beauty.

When I was in high school my girlfriend went through something terrible and a beautiful little girl came out of it. I took on the responsibility and in both of our minds, she is my daughter. I'm 20 and she's 4. I agree with a good bit of your list and I spend a lot of time reading about the kind of relationship her and I should have. I'm a U.S. Marine stationed very far away from her, and unfortunately don't have much time to talk to her or see her. I agree that a lot of your points are absolutely imperative. However, I don't think it's right to push christian faith on a child. I'm not trolling christians or any other deeply religious folks. But as a father myself, and a man with a different spiritual opinion, I would replace your christian tips with simply placing an importance on spirituality. To look beyond yourself and encourage her to do the same. If you place them in your own faith of choice, no disrespect to those who believe it is the only true faith, then you deny her many walks of spirituality that she could find great happiness in. I understand many people believe letting her stray from your faith is to betray her because of what you believe. My personal suggestion to those not so set on their religion/spirituality is to encourage her to explore different realms of thought. So she can make a decision for herself (at the right age) and find her spiritual enrichment from a source she truly believes in. Often people are pushed into a belief structure from a young age and never have a chance to find something that may fit them better. That's my rant. And again, I'm not trying to troll any heavy duty believers. I feel this post has given you respect so I ask you to respect my suggestion and spare me any retorts that may disrespect what I believe.

Thanks for sharing this list. I've taken some great things from it and it has reinforced many of my current beliefs on how to behave as a father.
