@Christopher – I hope no one has to heed this advice, but reality says some will.

@Pushing30 – Hopefully, those without spouses have a support network of friends and family to help out. It is difficult to do life alone! The best way to start friendships is to be there for someone else when they are in need.

Great post but what about people who have no spouse or partner? Do you have any suggestions for the single folks to get through the emotional roller coaster that goes along with this situation by themselves?
