<description>It&#039;s so gratifying to read about stories like this.

Just a few days ago, I was driving along one of our highways in pouring rain. I saw a car parked by the side and a man running from the car getting soaking wet in the process.

Only then I saw (in my side mirror) that he was running to help someone whose car had landed in a ditch.

For the rest of the journey I was wondering what kind of a guy I was not to have stopped.

Your article has stirred up that story in my mind again.

<description>There is a side of humanity that is truly beautiful. I&#039;ve witness lots of selfless acts especially in developing countries where people go to volunteer their time in order to help those less fortunate. Teaching, nursing, teaching farmers new techniques, etc.

It&#039;s also important to recognize the little things people do each day such as giving up their seat on the bus for an elderly person or simply holding the door for the person behind you. The small acts of kindness lead to the greater acts of courage.
