Jeff, I'm pretty lazy, so I've decided to stick to 2 words. My theme for 2009 is "Reach Out" both in my blogging life and in the real world. I'm focusing on making more connections and providing more value.

@Ashley - The funny thing is that the humor in your choice of words will probably help you remember them even better! I like where you're headed in 2009!

Thanks for your comment!

I've kinda been doing this without realizing it.

My words are Stylish and Popular. lol. I sound like I'm 15.

Stylish is a personal goal. I feel like style had gone overlooked around here lately. In my clothes, home, just life in general. I'm trying incorporate form into the function.

Popular is for my blog. I would like to see some major growth this year and I'm going to try to stay focused with it.

@Jason - Those are some fantastic words and great goals! I look forward to seeing your site grow and hearing about your progress toward your other goals!

@Nicki - I love your three words and their intent! Nice job!

@Scott - I'd say that you are on the right track. You've obviously pinpointed what you want to work on this year and your words seem right on target to help you keep mindful of your goal.

Thanks for sharing your words and goals!

Focus, plan and prepare.

Those three resolutions are to help me with work, family and life.

I know by having 4 kids that chaos sometimes reigns to twart me from my intended plan because of no focus and not preparing correctily.

I also know that in business I hear these three words a lot and this year I intend to put them to good use.

Also I think we all forget that we need to live. Sometimes that means spending time by ourselves or maybe planning a trip involving others. I need to focus here for sure!

I love this three word technique that you and Chris have wrote about. Thanks for the insight!

Cherish. Invest. Thrive.

Cherish every moment I can with my daughter and husband. Invest more in my family and with my money. Thrive as an individual and financially.

What a neat idea :-) Very similar to making a single sentence that covers your future goal.

Hmmm, I guess my three words have to be:

Move - walking an average of 10,000 steps a day, and riding my bike to work more.

Grow - actually gardening growth (and getting back into growing vegetables again) more than personal growth (not that I'm opposed to personal growth :-) )

Build - my online income and site visitors, both for Live To Budget and other sites I have. Wrapped into this is using the online income to pay off debt.

Read Jason´s latest article - Do You Have The Best Bank Account?
