Join The Revolution Against Mediocrity and Injustice

I am launching an attack against mediocrity, political correctness, and plain ole injustice.  I am tired of this crap.  I hope you will join me in speaking out against the things going on today that are just senseless.  If we continue to let this stuff slide, then we are going to wake up one day and realize that our communities and businesses are in the dumper.  In my opinion, we have already let a lot of things go way too far.  We have let our standards fall.  We don’t expect excellence anymore.  There are way too many dirtbags and losers out there getting away with too much.  We cannot continue to just ignore it and hope it will go away.  It is time to make a stand!

This is a warning to the politically correct and easily offended.

windowslivewriterwarningthisispoliticallyincorrectandmayo 6989warning 3 Join The Revolution Against Mediocrity and Injustice If you are easily offended or politically correct, then this is fair warning.  Over the course of the next few weeks, I will probably say something that you don’t like.  I may step on your toes.  I may use a term, characterization, or generalization that you don’t like.  Get over yourself!  I won’t be sorry for it and I won’t apologize.  I feel strongly that if I mince words, then the message will be so diluted that it will be ineffective.  We need plain talk.  We need leaders that are brave enough to speak the truth and endure the backlash when it comes.  I want to be someone that you can count on to tell you the truth even when it is not what you want to hear.

People aren’t stupid, but sometimes their actions are.

In the name of political correctness, we try to embrace and accept everybody regardless of how stupid they are acting.  Yes, I said stupid.  Some things people do are just stupid and there is no nicer way to put it.  If you speak out against someone’s stupid actions, then you are labeled as intolerant and bigoted.  Let me be clear, I believe in the rights of every individual regardless of their race, sex, religion, country of origin, or anything else out of their control.  I believe everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  It isn’t the individual that I am after.  However, when a person is doing something that violates the rights of others or is just plain stupid then don’t be surprised when I call them out for it.

We have to fight so our children can have a decent life.

windowslivewriterwarningthisispoliticallyincorrectandmayo 6989smile 3 Join The Revolution Against Mediocrity and Injustice I want my children to grow up and have a decent place to live.  I don’t want them to live in a society full of filth, where truth is situational.  I want them to be proud of their country and community.  I want them to have a decent chance of growing up with morals, being drug-free, and having pride in their country.  I want them to live a life of excellence and to be justly compensated for their effort without the fear that wherever they turn someone is waiting to con them out of everything they own.

All change for the better starts at the grass roots level.

As a society, we have become too self-involved and passive.  We need to realize we have a voice and power enough to effect change.  In fact, I will go out on a limb and say that all meaningful change starts at the grass roots level.  It takes real people to decide that they have had enough before change occurs.  This is how the United States was founded.  A few brave people assembled and spoke out against the injustices of the day.  A great example of this can be found in the Sons of Liberty.  This group included people like John Hancock, Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, and Patrick Henry.  They had enough, spoke out, and the American Revolution was born.  This same type of thing happened with civil rights for racial equality and labor unions for fair work practices.  Real change starts with real people.  Are you ready to stand up and be counted?  I am and I plan to use this blog as my platform.

Join me in this revolution against mediocrity and injustice.

You can join me in this revolution and be a part of making a difference.  Over the next few weeks, I am going to go on the attack against many different dirtbags and losers.  I will speak out against filth on television, bad parenting, identity thieves, panhandlers, social service addicts, spammers, and other forms of mediocrity and injustice that I hear about.  We need to band together in agreement against the stupid actions of others.  There are three main ways that you can immediately get involved:

  1. Subscribe to this site -  Join the revolution!  By subscribing to this site you can stay on top of what’s going on.  You can receive my articles in your e-mail inbox or via your favorite feed reader.  All you need to do is click the link to subscribe.

  3. Spread the word.  Click the links below to spread the word via your favorite social networking site.  If you are unfamiliar with social networking, I would recommend getting started with StumbleUponClick here to learn more about SU.  This is a great way to spread the word about the revolution and it would be greatly appreciated.  I cannot do this alone!

I am very happy to report that Malaysians did this with a vengeance on the 8 March 2008, when they, for the first time since 1969, denied the ruling political party the 2/3 majority in Parliament.

This majority has given them an arrogance that they could do whatever they want and get away with it.

Well, for the future of our children, we taught them a lesson…much like what you are suggesting we should all do.

    Count me in!

  2. Great post, Jeff. We have a long way to go, so we better get started.

What bugs me the most is the dis-information about almost everything where it concerns the media. Certain facts left out, running and re-running certain stories, making unsubstantiated claims, trashing the reputation of anyone who disagrees with their point of view. I’m sick of it too.

For some fun reads, try those “Politically Incorrect Guides to …”

    They’re awesome.

@fathersez – It is awesome to hear of an example that proves that we have power to create change when we band together in a common voice against mediocrity and injustice!

@Ron – We do have a long way to go! I have much more to say in this area and I appreciate you coming along.

The media is a bunch that gets on my nerves as well. I turn off what I don’t like. I think this is the fastest way to create change in that industry. As long as we watch the crap, then they are going to keep producing it.

    Thanks for voicing your opinions!

Jeff, I’m with you on your mission to be politically incorrect, insensitive, and just plain honest. It’s about time we had some honest media out there. I believe it is what people really crave, despite the few sore-heads out there who get easily offended.

    Hi Jeff,

Your voice is so refreshing and yet familiar!

Incidentally, I had posted an article last week on my site:”Why Most Successful People Are Renegades”. I think the content resonate well with your mission here.

Isn’t this great minds think alike?

Congratulation for the impressive site! Cheers!
