Great article..I think financial planning, investing and specially in annuities are one of the critical things about retirement.. I bought a few annuities 20 year back from bankers life and casualty , and I can live a worry free retirement.

Another tip is to divide and conquer when it comes to cookie baking! Instead of making five different kinds, which requires keeping track of a lot of different recipes and ingeredients, team up with four other friends and have everyone make five batches of one kind. Since we had our first child four Christmas seasons ago, we block out the week between Christmas and New Years for family "down time". We don't work and don't have any particular plans most days.
