Knights were hardly “chivalrous”

The idea of chivalry was really proposed by the author of the original King Arthur and the Knight of the round Table; written well into the Medeival period and by a disgraced knight in jail!!!!

Knight were notoriiously barbaric; a common pastime for knight was to ride around and attack helpless pheasant farmers. They also used to test their swords by seeing if they could cut a human body in half; usually with the victim still alive!!!

Please get your history right and stop perpetuating useless unrealised and overly romanticized stereotypes.

I’m only 14, but I am already trying to become a knight. I agree with most of the above points, but it can be very hard to continuously be honourable and chivalrous. We could all do with someone to help us along our journey to knighthood.

Chivalry is a racket, and you’re part of that racket. You’re out of your mind if you think we’re still falling for those cheap shaming tactics. Nice try though.

Your idea that we are dealing with a “few feminist” who are doing a little bit of damage shows that you are either acting in bad faith or you’re completely out of touch. Men’s complete lives are being ruined out there, and not just a few of them. You really don’t have a clue.

Don’t even bother coming back with the usual condescension, I’ve heard it all before.

To all of the men who are complaining about ladies being unladylike, who think that feminism killed chivalry, or who otherwise use strong willed women as an excuse to not behave like a man: get over it.

I’m not trying to start a flame war here, but it kills me to see men bashing women. Just because there are a few feminists out there who want to take men down, that doesn’t mean that we have to participate in the war.

Most men can lead lives of quiet dignity, protecting, nurturing, and providing for the amazing woman that has chosen to live her life by your side.

You attract into your life what you put out, guys. If you want a strong, feminine, beautiful woman who will be a lady to be trusted and admired, then you have to man up and act like a gentleman. Chivalry is a part of that.
