For example, it would be nice to have two columns for each budget category each month - a projected and an actual - to see how well we did or didn't stick to our budget goal for the month. Like I said, it's a great program and it works well for us. I used to write out our budget by hand (not a big deal) and then allocate every transaction from the month to a category (that took a *lot* of time) and that was very time consuming. Using YNAB has made budgeting a much less timely activity. It's also so easy to just open the program, look at a particular category, and know just how much we have left for the month (provided we keep it up to date). If you can't figure out how to do something, there are video "how-to's" on the website, as well as an instruction manual and forums. That’s a great review of YNAB.
