The site upgrade is complete!  I am proud to announce the new and improved version of My Super-Charged Life running on WordPress and hosted by BlueHost.  I am really excited about this overhaul.  The upgrade went very smoothly.  I was able to sign-up for my account with BlueHost, do an automated install of WordPress, and import my posts from Blogger all in about an hour!  Technology is truly amazing. 

I did have a little trouble getting FeedBurner updated with the proper settings for the new site.  When I tried to update the Original Feed field on FeedBurner, I would get an error stating either that the URL could not be found or that an error existed in the feed.  I used FeedValidator to check my feed so I knew there were not any errors.  I eventually had to post an article to the FeedBurner Forums to ask for assistance.  The response I got was to wait until the DNS changes had time to propagate.  However, it had already been two days and within just a few hours of making the post to the forum, I tried again and it worked.  I’m just glad it is working again.

I still have more to do to get everything the way I want it, but I’m happy with what I’ve accomplished so far.  If it wasn’t for the trouble with FeedBurner, then it really would have been a short and fairly simple upgrade.  If any other bloggers out there are thinking of moving from Blogger to WordPress, I say go for it!  What are you waiting for?
