A super-charged life is a rebellion against mediocrity. It is about living life to the fullest. Super-charged living is about doing whatever it is that you do, the very best it can be done. Why live life any other way? Let’s be honest, most of us live in our comfort zones. We do not continually challenge ourselves to be excellent in everything we do. We make excuses and sometimes these excuses become habits. The sum of our habits is our lifestyle. Rather than step into the unknown, we instead accept living a rather dull existence where things are safe, but boring.
Why not change and live a super-charged life? It is possible. What are your dreams? Your goals? Many of us have forgotten. We have given up. Life threw us a couple of curve balls. We got busy working, raising families, or just surviving. As a result, we trudge through each day of our life without really living. Life is too short! You have to make a stand. Don’t continue to bury your head in the sand like an ostrich. It is time to dust off those old dreams or write down some new ones and get started living.
What does a super-charged life look like? Well, after over 40 years of experience living life and researching it in numerous books, articles, and websites. I have come to the conclusion that the following characterize super-charged living:
- Strives for Excellence
- Financially Wise
- Committed to a Cause
- Leadership by Example
- Entrepreneurial Spirit
- Continual Learner
- Adventurous
These are in no particular order except that I think striving for excellence should take top priority. If you continually put your best foot forward, then good things will come your way. This is true in your work, your relationships, as well as when it comes to your goals and dreams. In future articles, I will go into each of these characteristics in depth, but for now look over these and think about where you are doing well and where you might need some help. What is holding you back from living a super-charged life? Here are some tips for getting started:
- Make a decision. Deciding to do something is the first step to actually making it a reality. Think about it. Nothing has ever been accomplished until someone decided it needed to be done. You can decide today to make changes and start living a super-charged life.
- Write some goals. This is Rule #1 of Living a Super-Charged Life. Once you decide to make some changes, get yourself a notebook and make a list of goals. Assign a realistic due date to each goal. If your goal is big, then break it down into multiple steps and assign each step a due date. You have to write it down. You greatly increase the likelihood of success once you commit your goals to writing and assign them due dates.
- Take immediate action. Do something today toward your goals. The longest of journeys started with the smallest of steps. The longer you wait to take action, the less likely it is that you will accomplish a goal. Fear and doubt creep in. The antidote to fear is action. Figure out a few small steps where you can be successful and do them. This will build your confidence and momentum. What are you waiting for?

I favor point no.3 – take immediate action, on which i and others should reach a higher ground, must excel. Once we embark on our journey of building success throughout, we can go along with the flow. Trepidation is sensed as a big enemy, standing in our way of life to manifesting dreams consistently… our potentialities are undefeated in systematic beliefs of ours. It’s wonderful to construe the given incentives while everyone else are involved in it too.
