Have you ever done anything really stupid? Let’s be big enough people to call something stupid when we see it. Yes, tact is important, but so is growth and excellence. The alternative is a world of mediocrity where anything is acceptable. That’s not where I want to live!
Do you ever have trouble communicating? Miscommunication is a common problem for all of us. It happens all the time. It even occurs when we least expect it and we often don’t know it happened until it is too late.
Need some inspiration to carry on toward your goals? Give it time! Things do not happen overnight. We’ve got to learn to practice patience and persistence if we want our efforts to pay off.
Is it time for you to give up and quit? Successful people will tell you that persistence is the key to winning. Giving up is the only sure way to failure.
Are you living your life to the fullest every day? That’s my goal and why I write this blog. I want to experience the best life has to offer on a daily basis. I don’t believe this is found in a superstar, jet set lifestyle. On the contrary, I seek to live life to its fullest while carrying on my common activities.
Do you regularly strive for excellence? Doing your best is important. Whether you believe it or not, people are always watching your example. Your commitment to excellence (or lack thereof) will form their opinion of you.
We should be striving for excellence in all that we do. Why do less than your best? People notice when you aren’t performing up to your capabilities. They may not say anything, but they make a mental note. This can and probably will come back to haunt you. At the very least, it will leave you stranded on a plateau of mediocrity somewhere below your full potential.
Handling pressure and stress is often difficult. We live in a fast-paced world that is sometimes very unforgiving. The pressures we have to deal with at work and at home seem relentless. It can start to become too much to handle. However, before you give up, you should seek wisdom from others that have dealt with pressure and made it.
