May has been a fantastic month here at My Super-Charged Life.  Can you believe that it is already May?  The year is almost half over.  I saw a post this week called 211 Shopping Days Until Christmas- Are You Ready?.  It made me think about how time flies.  It really will be Christmas before we know it.  This got me to thinking about what might be happening here at My Super-Charged Life by the end of the year.  How many people will be visiting the site by then?  How many subscribers will there be?  What changes will I need to make to accommodate the growth?  Well, if May is any indicator, then the answer to these questions will probably pleasantly surprise me.  I look forward to finding out.

Good things that happened in May.

It is always good to recall and reflect upon the great things that happen in our lives.  So, indulge me and let me share with you some of the great things that have gone on here on the site this month.  First, we have had about 15,510 visitors and over 20,564 page views.  In addition, the number of subscribers has increased about 50% and now hovers right around 300.  This is outstanding!  Also, Google has blessed me with a PageRank of 3 which helps improve the site’s standings in search results.  Obviously, the site is growing nicely which is encouraging because it takes a lot more effort than I ever imagined.

How to help by being a blogger’s best friend.

All bloggers need encouragement.  Being a part-time blogger with a day job is tough, but rewarding.  I enjoy seeing the site grow and hearing from my readers about how the articles have helped them.  I also enjoy the online relationships that I have formed with other bloggers.  Believe it or not, the blog networks we create, like the LifeSkills Network, are support groups for us.  It is kind of like therapy!    I can’t say enough about the other members of my network.  It is truly an honor to work with them. 

Finally, I want to say thank you to YOU, the reader.  I am grateful that you choose to visit my site and read my articles.  It is truly awesome that you come.  I appreciate all that you have done to encourage me and to help this site grow.  I will humbly offer the following suggestions for your continued support of this site and for the other blog sites that you visit.  Here’s how to be a blogger’s best friend:

1.  Leave a comment and participate.

We love comments!  When we write and no one comments, we feel like the article was a flop.  I cannot tell you how encouraging it is to engage in healthy discussion about a topic via comments from readers.  If you comment regularly, then I sincerely appreciate it.  If you have never left a comment, then please consider starting today by leaving me a comment and letting me know what you think of My Super-Charged Life.  Hearing from you would be a great way to start the weekend!

2.  Subscribe to the site.

3.  Share articles and sites that you enjoy.

It is probably obvious that every blogger wants more readers.  I sincerely believe that the best way to get what you want is to help others get what they want.  So, how can you help?  By sharing articles that you like with your friends via email and instant messaging.  Also, we greatly appreciate it when you use social media sites like StumbleUpon, Digg, FaceBook, del.icio.us, and Twitter to name a few to tell vast audiences that you like the articles we write.  A site can literally receive thousands of hits in a day based on the positive opinion of just a few readers like you.  Almost every blogger provides links like the ones you see below to make it easy for you to do this.

Twhirl is a desktop client for Twitter.  It is awesome!  Twhirl greatly enhanced my experience using Twitter.  I highly recommend it.  Here’s the list of the best features straight from the Twhirl website:
