However something does and truly bother me about America - The violence in America. The prison system is exploding and its all there for everyone to see. America has to many people within America that want to over throw the current system and instead have some third riech leadership. This it what scares me about America. Think about the millions of Americans that wake up every morning and read anti American books, magazines and what not. In my opinion many people who write how wonderful America is are in reality disconnected from the real America. This is an issue that America needs to work on - the violence. America is a great country. However something does and truly bother me about America – The violence in America. The prison system is exploding and its all there for everyone to see. The freedoms we have to choose our own path, to come and go as we please, and all the wonderful things about America you've listed here makes me proud to be American. I hate politics and I hate racism, and both of those topics tend to make my blood pressure rise beyond what is reasonable. I wish everyone a wonderful and safe 4th of July holiday, being mindful of the dangers of fireworks since I've already heard several news stories about little children being seriously burned by sparklers. Be safe everyone. I can’t even imagine what life would be like if I didn’t live in America. Very few places in the world give a person the ability to start with nothing and in one lifetime become successful. America is filled with stories of people who come back from great losses to achieve greatness. Look at Truett Cathy for just one example. It's great to see that at least some Americans are not driven mindlessly by their political preference and can recognize and appreciate our nation as the awesome entity that it is. I'm just glad to live in a place where I can decide what is right for me. Having choices allows for people to be who they are, and I think America is one of few places where one can exercise that right to the highest degree. Thank you for the post.
