		<description>I&#039;m sad to say I&#039;ve used all of these at some point! The ironic part is that when I actually put in a ton of effort, I tend to get much better results and have a far deeper appreciation for the project. It almost always pays off.

		<description>I think the excuse that bothers me the most is when someone doesn&#039;t even realize they&#039;re guilty of poor performance. In my mind, it speaks to how they were raised and the fact that they never developed a work ethic.

When it comes to the &quot;time&quot; excuse I always tell people, There&#039;s never enough time to do everything, but there&#039;s always enough time to do the important things. It all depends on what&#039;s important to you.

		<description>@B - I do think it is a challenge to teach this to your kids.  Modeling excellence is certainly the best thing we can do.  I also remind my kids that doing something like homework right the first time will get it done faster because it eliminates the rework.

		<description>Well said.  While I was reading it I was thinking of my kids and how to teach them this.  I guess it has to be modeled more than talked about.  Thanks for giving me this to ponder on and try to teach or model doing a great job for my kids.
