My dream and passion is to do training in our communities for people to discover meaning in their lives, and to live their lives with hope. Our young people in our country, for various reasons, seem to have so little hope for the future. In addition to this, domestic violence is on the increase, fueled by so many things, but perhaps also starting with "no hope" (including little respect for the other), our strong patriarchical society, and then resulting in even less hope (low self-esteem, low self-worth, low self-confidence, etc). I have developed a training programme which focuses on this, including Sexual Harassment in the workplace, called "Finding your Voice - Finding Meaning in your Life", but my biggest obstacle in marketing has been my own fear. Reading your article, with these six steps, has been amazing. I need to pay my bills, but I fear going out marketing my training. Even though I believe in it, and I believe it can make a difference in our communities (I hsve already presented a few sessions, and the feedback was amazing), I have not yet managed to overcome my fear of rejection.
